Kob-i In Singapore

Known as the King of tropical fruits, the fruit has segments that reveal several portions of creamy, yellow, rich, custard-like flesh, each encasing a hard, light-brown seed. The flesh has an intense aroma that some people find aromatic or pungent. 

The durian is so popular and valued amongst Singaporeans that it started getting graded for its quality in recent years, based on its size, weight and shape.

Much more than just an acquired taste, the durian symbolises the Singaporean spirit of togetherness, with many families and groups of friends making time out of their busy days just to eat it together.
